STUDENT COUNCIL PURPOSE, RULES, EXPECTATIONS
The purpose of this organization is to encourage school citizenship; encourage student participation; promote better student-faculty relations; plan assemblies, foster solutions for school problems; promote the general welfare of the school and community; and to give students responsibilities in school affairs.
To maintain an active status in StuCo, members must: maintain an average of 70 or above in all classes, be in good behavioral standing with teachers and administration, adhere to Student Handbook at all times, attend and participate, at minimum: in 5 meetings, donate to 2 drives, work 2 community projects/school events.
StuCo meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month. There will be a morning and afternoon session. Any special called meetings will have as much notice as possible. StuCo participates (volunteering, hosting, etc.) in the following events throughout the school year:

Dragonfly Trick or Treat
Feast of Sharing Coin Drive
Veterans Day Program
Cafeteria, Custodial, Maintenance, & Technical Support Appreciation Breakfast
Ornament Contest
Food Pantry Donations
School Board Appreciation
Valentine’s Dance
Easter Egg Hunt
Teacher Appreciation
Any other event that may arise
StuCo members must participate according to the constitution guidelines set in order to be eligible for the end of the year field trip.
