All About Me
Hello! My name is Victoria McKey. I was born and raised in the Bryan/College Station area and a graduate of Bryan High School. I earned a Bachelor's Degree from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice and for eleven years worked in juvenile probation and parole. I went back to school to obtain my teaching certification and began my career at Mumford ISD. For six years I taught high school Spanish and coached Junior High and High School volleyball and softball. I am excited to join the amazing staff at Franklin ISD this year! I will be working in the Middle School co-teaching 7th grade Texas History as well as assisting with Middle School Special Education. I will also be coaching Junior High Volleyball, Basketball and Track as well as High School Track. I love athletics and can't wait for a successful year in sports!
Also new to Franklin this year will be my two boys. My oldest son, Brock, will be a Sophomore and running Cross Country. My youngest son, Brody, will be entering fourth grade and involved in any and all sports offered to him! He plays travel baseball for the Hustle 3 Bucks out of College Station and keeps me super busy! My husband, Todd, is the superintendent for the Brazos County JJAEP and we have a Jack Russell Terrier named Charlie.
I am very excited to begin this new journey in Franklin and can't wait to see all of the things my boys and students accomplish this year!!
