Mrs. Krause: 7th Grade Special Education

Introduction

Howdy My name is Mrs. Kim Krause.

I am a proud graduate of Franklin High School, Class of '93, and Texas A&M University, Class of '02. I attended Franklin ISD from 1st through 12th grade and take great pride in being a Franklin Lion!

Education and Certifications

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a major emphasis in Math and a minor emphasis in Reading. My teaching certifications include:

  1. Special Education (Grades EC - 12)
  2. Elementary/Middle School Math (Grades 1 - 8)
  3. Elementary/Middle School Reading (Grades 1 - 6)
  4. Elementary/Middle School Self-Contained (Grades 1 - 8)

With 25 years of experience in education, I have dedicated the past 24 years to Franklin ISD. During this time, I have served as a Special Education teacher for a total of seven years, primarily focusing on 6th and 7th grades over the last five years.

Personal Life

I am married to Timothy Krause, and our son, Luke, will be entering 2nd Grade at Roland Reynolds Elementary this upcoming school year! We are blessed with three wonderful adult daughters: Stephanie and her husband, Ryan, along with my sweet granddaughter, Kynlie Lace, and handsome grandson, Stetson, who live in Smithville;  My daughter, Kallie, and her husband, Alex, along with another grandson, Beau, reside in Snook;  Kallie's twin sister, Hallie, and her husband, Cody, live in Waco.

Looking Ahead

I am extremely excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to getting to know each and every student. It promises to be a great year!
